I've always heard, work at something of passion and it will never become a job. I've worked since throwing papers as a 16 year old and although I've enjoyed all that I've done, it has always been a job.

 As long as I can recall my mother-in-law has walked the beaches of North Carolinas, Outer Banks and I've marveled at the jewels she's found in the tidal zone. It's a passion of hers providing relaxation and enjoyment with little treasures as reward adding up over the years. I recently had an opportunity to layout the thousands of Sea Glass gems she's collected in support of our new passion.

We are learning to make Sea Glass jewelry and it really is amazing how these ocean gems speak to you defining their next phase of life.  We are in the early stages of this journey - Expecting it will bring us into early retirement to follow our dreams of boating the Caribbean in search of Sea Glass. We've already picked up the addiction of searching tidal areas during each vacation we take and have them stored away as future pieces.

Anyone can purchase a bag of hand tumbled beach glass from online or various other providers, but it lacks passion.
